Young guns seal victory for India against Aussies

Another massive succcess for India as well as Skipper MS Dhoni.. 2nd One Day International match between India vs Australia held on Vishakapatnam on 20th October 2010. Mahendra Singh Dhoni win the toss and elected to bowl first.. Early strikes from Nehra put some pressure on Aussies.. But Skipper M Clarke and M Hussey put some valuable runs.. Hussey and Clarke put 140 odd runs.. Till the fall of Hussey the run rate is below 5 only.. C White change the fact of the match.. He take 11 balls to get 3 runs in one stage after that a massive blow from him.. He scored 89* runs just from 49 balls.. In that 6 sixes and 6 fours include.. Australia set 290 target for Indians.. S Dhawan and M Vijay started for India. S Dhawan lost his wicket in the second ball he faced, V Kohli came at no 3 position.. M Vijay started well but he fail to continue.. Now the Punjab King yuvraj came into the crease.. Yuvi and Kohli played really well.. Yuvraj Singh lost his wicket after complete his 9th half century.. Now Suresh Raina came to join with Kohli.. Kohli complete his 3rd century with outstanding performance.. Raina start to fire after the dismissal of Yuvi.. He smashed 3 fours in Hopes over.. He continue his aggressive batting style.. Hastings took two wickets in the last stage of the match put some pressure on Indians..

But Raina finish of the things in his own style.. S Tiwary strick two fours in MA Starc over to reach the target set by Aussies.. On the inauguration M Clarke says" C White's innings was unbelievable. We thought 290 was enough in this pitch. But India Chased well.. Fantastic job did by J Hastings and M Hussey.. Starc has a very bright future for Australia.. We're very disappointed with the result..
MS Dhoni says" Yuvraj and Kohli got us back in the game.. Raina supported Kohli well in the end.. I thought the spinners would get more turn but it turned out to be much flatter. Suresh Raina at the crease with one Powerplay to go i knew we had a chance. We have eight to ten games before the World cup and we want to achieve more than just winning the games..

First ODI between Ind & Aus abandoned

The first One Day International match between India and Australia washed out due to heavy rain in Kochi.. The match abandoned without a ball bowled..The cloud looking very clear at the starting session of the match, but it returns with no time and send everyone home..  This is unfortunate result for the fans they are filling the stadium with blue shirts and t-shirts.. Second match between India and Australia going to held on wednesday at Vishakapatnam..

India seal Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2-0

After winning the first test by 1 wickets at mohali, indians are very confident.. They beat Australia once again in 2nd test held at bangalore.. Australia won the toss and choose to bat.. After winning the toss, Australia openers give a good start for the middle orders, they put 99 for the first wicket.. Clarke and Hussey once again fail to score in this series.. Ricky Ponting made 77. Marcus North's maiden test century help Australia's huge total in the first innings.. Australia made 478 in their first innings. Reply to that 478 India didn't get a good start. India lose two quick wickets in the same session.. India were 38/2 in one stage. But the partnership between Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar and Murali Vijay help India to get a valuable score..
Murali Vijay gets his maiden century and Sachin Tendulkar gets his sixth double century.. But the tail enders fail to get a massive score.. India get a 17 runs lead in the first innings.. Once again Watson and Katich give a good start to Australia, but they manage to get 220 odd runs only in their second innings.. They set India a target of 207 runs.. While chasing India lose sehwag very early. But the debutant Cheteshwar Pujara's maiden half century and Murali vijay 37 runs give India a clean path to their victory. After that Sachin and Dravid help India to reach their Goal...

Historical Win by Indians...

India vs Australia 1st test at mohali win by India .. India's 405/10 reply to the Australia's 428/10 in the first innings give australia lead by 20 odd runs... In the second innings Ishant 3/34 and Zaheers 3/43 restrict Australia to 192/10.. India were 48/4 in the last session of the fourth day..

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar and Zaheer khan is in the crease... The last day of the match started positively by the indian players.. But Zaheer , Tendulkar , Dhoni and Harbhajan lose their wicket in the regular interval..

Ishant came in to the crease in very critical situation for India.. But Ishant give fabulous support to Laxman who always in the gap between Australia and Victory.. Once again he prove his ability...

VVS Laxman and Ishant Sharma put 81 runs partnership for the 9th wicket.. On that stage India need 6 more runs to win.. But Ojha manage to get those runs without losing the final wicket.. India lead the Border-Gavaskar trophy 1-0.. Man of the Match goes to Zaheer Khan who take 8 wicket in this match.. "Winning is very important , it was a great game of cricket.. Both teams fought hard and we did just enough to end up on the winning side. I was just waiting for the ball to reverse, MsD also waiting for that only.. And it did.. It worked for me.. Everyone were nervous in the dressing room, we tried to remain calm and hoped that the two batters would gets us through" Zaheer says..
Dhoni says.. It was one of the best.. This game was full of emotions. we lost Ishant in the first innings, the way we bowled in the second and third session was remarkable and that got us back.. We could have got the first innings lead.. but we miss it.. The bowlers again did well to bowl them out in the second innings.. Our batting collapsed but laxman and Ishant played really well.. We just wanted the dressing room to be calm and cool.. The bowlers from both the sides have done well to get a result in this game..

Ponting says, It was one of the exciting test matche i have played.. India got the full credit.. today they outplayed us.. The effort from the boys are satisfying.. we tried our best.. Bollinger's injury probably didnt help us there..
